Description

With trademark "Durbes veltes" canned fruit, berries, vegetables and house wines are produced in a small factory in Durbe. The producer SIA "EVI & JO" is a Latvian food company that bases its production on classic values and traditional product preparation methods, which use almost no e-substances. Delicious jams and compotes, spicy savory salads and pickles are made from raw materials grown in Latvia. Most fruits, vegetables and berries are grown in Durbe region - on the farm "Avenes" owned by producers and in other farms or backyard gardens in Durbe region. The raw materials are produced using traditional farming methods, which means that the vegetable furrows are weeded and the fruits and berries are not sprayed with various chemical plant protection products. This is the only way to give the products flavors reminiscent of mom's or grandmother's jam or salad.
