Association "Center for Traditional Cultural Initiatives "KasTe"" aims to find out and study the Latvian folk traditions, tangible and intangible Latvian cultural heritage, as well as to promote it both in Latvia and far beyond its borders.
With us it is possible to learn the game of wood, the basics of weaving belts, making pastes, painting glass, making jewelry, making wood and other useful skills. Visitors are offered a tour of the world of ancient musical instruments, as well as an introduction to wool processing - from sheep to fabric.
We physically work both in Cēsis and in Drabeši, Amata region - in the Crafts House of Drabešu manor - we make music, organize exhibitions, concerts and festivals, educate others at events, seminars, clubs and master classes, as well as establish cultural relations with other countries.
