About us
Latvian Cynological Federation( LKF) was founded in 1974. as the Riga Dog Breeders Association. The current name was acquired in 1993. year. LKF is the largest cynological organization in the Republic of Latvia, unites 36 dog breeders' clubs, 2004. also registered as an educational institution.
Latvian Cynological Federation since 1996. the International Federation of Cynology operates( FCI) in the composition, in 2005. the American Kennel Club has also become its full member( AKC) cooperation partner.
The Latvian Cynological Federation deals with:
- breeding of breed dogs
- organization of exhibitions, sports competitions
- dog training
- organization of courses related to the activity profile
