About the Madona County Library

Madona county library is a cultural, educational and information institution of Madona county council, the largest public library in Madona county. Madonas library offers various services - literature rental, document printing, copying and scanning. Free internet is available in the library for city residents. 1923 is considered the year of foundation of Madona district library. the year when the Biržu teachers' union received a comprehensive collection of 505 copies completed by the Culture Fund. The main task of the library is to ensure free, unlimited access to literature and necessary information for all residents of the region, providing accessible, free and paid library, bibliographic and informational services to all.
