Vision examination

Vision testing is done by optometrists. The people of Ogre have known the optician who works in Optics since the time he made orders for glasses at the Ogre Center pharmacy. He has been working as an optician since 1993. At the beginning of the 90' was also the beginning of the development of the optometry industry in Latvia.

Take an eye test - by applying!

Spectacle lenses are ground into the optic( many opticians accept orders but manufacture elsewhere), therefore, if the required eyeglass lenses are in the optician and there are not many orders to be made, then the glasses can be made in as little as half an hour.,

• Multifocal lenses( bifocals( two different strengths of lenses are incorporated in one eyeglass lens, which are intended for viewing at a distance and for working up close) ;
• progressive( one eyeglass lens incorporates different strengths of lenses designed for distance vision, mid-distance vision up to ~ 1 meter and close-up work)
• Photochromic lenses( Under the influence of UV rays, they become dark like sunglasses, but indoors they become light) - lenses available in two colors: gray and brown.
