What is foam insulation?

Polyurethane foam is one of the most effective modern insulation materials - quick to install, durable and long-lasting, provides hermetic continuous insulation without seams, cracks and voids on any surface. Sprayed to a certain thickness, the foam also becomes a sound, steam and water insulator that lasts up to 50 years.
Polyurethane is a material found all around us - in household goods, clothing, cars, sports equipment, etc. Polyurethane foam is widely used in modern construction in many parts of the world( USA, Canada, Asia, Scandinavia, Great Britain, etc), because, when properly incorporated, this thermal insulation material allows to achieve high energy efficiency of buildings and significantly reduce heating costs. The application of foam insulation is very wide - from foundations to roofs, both in small private houses and farm buildings, and in industrial hangars.
Polyurethane foam is formed as a result of the connection of two substances of the polymer group - isocyanate and polyol. These two components are sprayed with a special high-pressure machine, forming a single-layer insulation material that provides excellent adhesion to almost any surface, including uneven surfaces and building materials. The composition of the foam does not contain chemical solvents, as well as harmful plasticizers, it does not have a smell. The foam is quick to apply and hardens within 3-20 seconds. The manufacturer's guarantee for the durability of the foam is 25 years.
